Coral Reef Innovation Hub, Coronation, and the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) have partnered to set up a $50,000 AI and Machine Learning Lab, set to open by March 2025! This project, led by Coral Reef, is all about giving students and lecturers the tools and skills they need to thrive in today’s tech-driven world.
What’s coming:
- AI Lab Funding: Coronation contributed $20K, Coral Reef $10K, and UENR $20K.
- Student Device Purchase Program: Students can buy devices bundled with 60% discounted data, Edflix (an edtech platform), and insurance.
- AI Training: Students will get hands-on training based on the Intel AI for Future Workforce curriculum.
- Faculty Development and Lecturer Support: Lecturers will be trained to develop online course content, supporting UENR’s hybrid and virtual learning programs.
This lab is a step towards redefining education and driving innovation in Ghana. We are proud and excited to be part of this transformative journey to see the impact it will have. Big thanks to all the partners who made this happen!
